2010 Senior {Tullahoma, TN Senior Photographer}

Wow! What an afternoon! I really wasn’t sure I’d be able to pull this session off with the weather that was moving in, but the rain held off and we got to do everything I had envisioned! Miss L was up for anything!

We even took her prom dress out in the field and didn’t get wet!

Early on in the session when Miss L was changing clothes, I snuck a few shots of her little sister in. (I’m sneaky like that )

Yesterday, I shot my first official session in the new studio! It was a BLAST!!! had the very best model too! I’ve photographed Miss A before, and just like previous sessions, she was up for anything! We tried several new things. My favorites are too many to post, but here are a few of the top picks…

For those of you who know Miss A, you know that she’s a jeans and boots kind of girl. When I saw this beautiful green formal dress, I just HAD to do this…

2009 in Review…

I can’t believe another year has come and gone already! As I look back over 2009, I am truly humbled by the many families who have trusted me with their priceless memories. The beautiful places I’ve been able to go this year to photograph landscapes… I still can’t believe I’ve been so blessed. As I browsed through some of my favorite images, I decided to put together a slideshow to share.

Freshman Pictures for Miss A {Woodbury, TN Photographer}

I had the pleasure of photographing Miss A on Thursday in celebration of her freshman year of high school. She was so much fun!!! Much to her mother’s dismay, I told her repeatedly that I love her attitude. It might not be fun in day to day life, but it photographs beautifully!

They thought I had lost my mind when I stopped in the middle of the road and jumped out to take this image. I’m sure it seemed really weird at the time, but something about it captivated me, and the image came out beautifully…

As soon as I saw this one in the back of the camera, I knew it would be my favorite. Don’t you think she looks like Melissa Gilbert in her younger days? What a stunning beauty!!!

Miss A was such a sweetheart. I’m sure she will skip her way through high school, just like she did in this image…

I also took a few of her gorgeous older sisters, but sorry mama, you’ll have to wait to see those

Another gorgeous 2010 senior! {Woodbury, TN Senior Photographer}

I had the honor of photographing a beautiful senior from Woodbury yesterday afternoon. They had the PERFECT location!!! I actually would like to just pick up all the old buildings and the beautiful landscaping and move it to my studio LOL!

We did a few images of Miss K sitting on her great-grandmother’s front porch…

…and in the yard…

…but the best (worst?) part was when I had her lay in the grass…

No one bothered to tell me Miss K is VERY allergic to grass!! Oy… The image came out beautifully. I just hope Miss K didn’t end up with a terrible case of hives!
