This image was taken by a colleague (who shall remain nameless!). She hired me to retouch for her. As professional photographers, we don’t like to share our images before they have been edited. It’s like leaving your house without clothes — an un-retouched image is “naked”! I tell my clients all the time that the real magic happens in the computer. It all starts with a well composed, well lit image (and this IS), but what gives it the polish of a professional image is the retouching.
