That’s right! It was one year ago today that my Mama had bi-lateral mastectomy. And to celebrate one year being cancer free, we threw a PARTY!! But not just any party—it was a SURPRISE party!
She was totally surprised. She just stood in one spot waving her arms back and forth and screaming!
She cried (just a little)…
I have been trying for about 2 years to get a picture of my grandmother (she has late stage Alzheimer’s and isn’t very cooperative) I used my step-dad’s 200mm lens :-p
Of course, when she realized I was taking her picture…
She still has her sense of humor
My step-dad got Mama the most gorgeous pink roses along with a card that sings “I will survive” LOL!…
The party came off without a hitch! And my kids didn’t even give the secret away
